iPad Cart Wahoo! Now What?
Just got an iPad cart? Now what? Come learn about iPad cart procedures for your building. Train staff at your school on how to use and take care of this resource. Learn about apps to use with your whole class and lesson plans. Seamlessly integrate this technology at your school!
Purpose: As a Technology Teacher, I was given an iPad Cart for my elementary school with no Professional Development. I researched online, talked with other educators and learned from trial/error about what to do when you get an iPad Cart at the elementary school level. Participants will leave this session with new confidence about using an iPad Cart on their campus. I will share best practices for teachers/students, apps to use with a whole group, how to add apps to the iPads, and how to purchase an app. We don't want the iPad Cart to collect dust because teachers don't know what to do or they fear that students won't take care of this pricey resource. Participants will be given the first steps and the resources to start the school year ready for teachers/students to use the cart.
