#OUCover16: Millennial Use of Technology to Report on the U.S. Presidential Elections

In January 2016, fourteen students from the Gaylord College of Journalism traveled to Iowa to begin their coverage the presidential primaries. Using digital technologies to report and post their work online, this cohort traveled to Iowa as undergraduates and returned reporters. This presentation will provide an overview of their focus on issues of concern to millennial voters, their use of multimedia platforms for reporting, and digital technologies in data and information gathering and storytelling.
