Making Thinking Visible: Green Screen in the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This session will focus on how to make student thinking visible by integrating green screen technology into core content area classroom projects. The presenter will share green screen projects completed by elementary students and high school students in a literature classroom and will discuss the importance of authentic, challenge-based learning that can be accomplished with the use of the green screen. Participants will have the opportunity to play with the green screen and record their own short video to experience the technology firsthand. There will also be time to brainstorm other uses for the green screen across content areas, so that teachers can leave the session with a project-based lesson planned and ready for classroom use with students.
