Storytelling has many positive attributes: contributes to early literacy development; provides opportunities for social interaction; enhances comprehension skills; offers a way to learn the elements of a story; provides another level of imaginative play. This session will provide hands-on experience with storytelling apps geared towards early childhood/elementary ages. We will discuss why storytelling is important and how to implement it in to a classroom via the iPad.
