Pokémon...NO!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Let’s go outside! No, not to find and catch wild Pokémon, but to make real observations, collect real data, and intentionally explore real surroundings. In this interactive session, you will be introduced to a variety of apps that can connect you with the scientific community by participating in investigations that are guided by scientific questions. This session may be beneficial for pre-service teachers who are looking for authentic ways to incorporate science and iPads in your lesson plans, for in-service teachers who are exploring ways to make science more meaningful for your students using iPads, or for anyone who is wanting to get outside and interact with your surroundings using iPads.
